Back in Action
I am happy to again be writing to you from campus after COVID-19's many challenges. Faculty and staff came back to the school last summer, and we regained a firm footing this fall. Return of students, record freshman enrollment, higher rankings, several awards, launch of a new undergraduate program and a new center of excellence all make for happy news.

A new center of excellence at the Naveen Jindal School of Management is poised to become a hub of engagement between retail industry leaders and students and faculty at The University of Texas at Dallas. Job one of the Center for Retail Innovation and Strategy Excellence (RISE) may be shifting consumer perceptions.
Meteor Mentoring, a new Jindal School program, gives students opportunities to form a collaborative relationship with a more experienced student or professional who can help them learn, grow and develop their career path. Mentoring — the counseling and support given by the senior person — can help smooth the transition between a student’s academic and professional life.
New and returning Naveen Jindal School of Management students arrived on The University of Texas at Dallas campus in full force during the fall 2021 semester. They were eager for in-person university experiences after social distancing necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. News of increased enrollments and a jump in rankings of undergraduate programs awaited them.
