Welcome New Members to the JSOM Advisory Council

The Naveen Jindal School of Management recently added six new members to the Advisory Council, already a roster of distinguished industry representatives. The Council strengthens the Jindal School by advising how the school can develop its academic offerings to maintain industry relevance. Its purpose complements and boosts the school’s mission to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing, technology-driven, global society. Through the Advisory Council, JSOM’s essential character is enhanced by partnering with the business community to:

  • Conduct research enhancing management knowledge.
  • Deliver high-quality management education to a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students and practicing executives.
  • Develop, innovate and continuously improve programs advancing management education and practice.

In addition, the members serve as advocates, engaging with students to help raise awareness of the school and improve its reputation in the community, as well as providing internships, mentoring and hiring opportunities. Individual success stories illustrate the value of these relationships.
