Undergrad and Grad Innovation Programs in Top 20
The Jindal School MS in Innovation and Entrepreneurship program moved into the top 10 in 2021 rankings of graduate programs released by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine last November. The program moved up five places and placed at No. 10.
The MS in IE undergraduate precursor, the BS in Business Administration Innovation and Entrepreneurship Concentration, placed in the top 25 undergraduate program rankings, coming in at No. 18.
Only seven other universities placed in the top 20 in both the undergraduate and graduate rankings, Paul Nichols, director of the MS in Innovation and Entrepreneurship program and executive director of the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, said.
The Princeton Review collected data from more than 300 schools and analyzed more than 40 data points in compiling the lists of the top 50 graduate and 50 undergraduate schools.
“Every year we add to our resources and capabilities for our students,” said Nichols. “Our practical curriculum, taught by highly experienced faculty, and our programs from the institute and the Blackstone LaunchPad give our students and UTD an advantage over others, especially during a pandemic when other universities may have slowed or stopped the growth of their innovation and entrepreneurship programs.”
