Two New Advisory Council Members Welcomed

Two new members, Larry Hughes and Brad Rejebian, have joined the Naveen Jindal School of Management Advisory Council. The council’s newest members provide valued leadership experience that will help the council in transforming management education at the Jindal School. Their commitment further builds on the council’s longstanding dedication to nurturing the next generation of business leaders.

As vice president, Corporate Human Resources and chief diversity officer for 7-Eleven, Inc., Larry Hughes is the lead human resource officer supporting all corporate functions, as well as all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Hughes has served 7-Eleven in a number of executive leadership roles since joining the company in 2009.

Hughes earned his doctorate in education from George Washington University, his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Following his graduation from West Point, he spent 8 years as a Field Artillery Officer. He and his wife Angela have two grown children.

“I look forward to engaging the students and faculty of the Jindal School of Management as a new member of the Advisory Council,” said Hughes. “I am particularly excited about providing the students exposure to the convenience retailing industry, including franchising. It is a privilege to be able to impact our business leaders of the future.”

Since becoming president and chief executive officer of Pavillion Bank, Richardson, in March 2024, Rejebian has been leading the bank’s strategic direction and operations. Prior to this role, he served in executive leadership positions for several major U.S. banks.

“I joined the JSOM Advisory Council to support the growth and success of Richardson and the greater Dallas business community,” said Rejebian. “UTD plays a vital role in developing future leaders for our region, and I wanted to contribute to that mission. Through UTD JSOM, I am confident that I can help create meaningful change.”

He received a BBA from the University of Mississippi. He is a 30-year member of the Rotary Club of Park Cities, a board member of the Dallas Zoo, and a board member of the Texas Business Hall of Fame. He and his wife Sherri have two adult children.
