Message From the Dean, Autumn 2025
Message From the Dean
We are in the midst of another vibrant and dynamic semester at the Naveen Jindal School of Management. I am thrilled to share exciting updates that reflect our commitment to excellence, innovation and preparing our students for the future.
This fall, we celebrate JSOM’s 50th Anniversary, commemorating five decades of excellence, innovation and impact while recognizing the extraordinary contributions of our alumni, donors and friends who have shaped the Jindal School’s past, present and future.
Our rankings continue to affirm our position among the nation’s elite business schools. Our latest honor comes via Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2025-26 Best B-Schools rankings, as our Full-Time MBA program surged upward, now ranking No. 12 nationally among public universities and 32nd overall. With almost 10,000 students from 70+ countries, nearly 400 faculty members, and 35 degree programs, the Jindal School remains a global hub for business education.
On a more somber note, as many of you are aware, our long-time colleague and friend, Dr. Diane McNulty, MS’78, PhD’84, associate dean of external affairs and corporate development, passed away July 29. Diane made an enormous impact on the Jindal School, dedicating many years to advancing its mission. She built numerous strategic corporate alliances and led all marketing and communications strategies for the school with vision, passion and unwavering commitment.
She will be deeply missed by all of us and this issue of Management magazine is dedicated to her memory.
Best Wishes,
Hasan Pirkul
