Jindal School Recognizes Teachers and Staff Members for Exemplary Work

Outstanding teachers and staff members were recognized recently at Naveen Jindal School of Management Teaching Awards. The awards were presented at the JSOM New Faculty and Staff Welcome and Awards reception Sept. 21 in the Executive Education Dining room.
The following individuals were chosen as outstanding teachers of the year:
- Dr. David Widdifield (OM): Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award
- Dr. Dale Albrecht (OSIM): Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award
- Tiffany Bortz (ACCT): Outstanding Online Teaching Award
- Sean Owens (MIS): Outstanding Teaching by an Adjunct Faculty Member
- Hong Zhang (MIS): Outstanding Teaching by a Teaching Assistant
- Dongdi Gu (ACCT): Outstanding Teaching by a Teaching Assistant
The Jindal School also selected Criselda (Cris) Lundblade, an administrative assistant in Technology and Facilities Services; Kenton (Kent) Seaver, director of academic operations; and Shalonda Hill, an administrative assistant in the Organizations, Strategy and International Management Area as winners of Outstanding Staff awards.
“I am thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our faculty and staff members who have been selected as the Outstanding Teachers of the Year and Outstanding Staff Members of the Year,” said Dr. Diane McNulty, associate dean for external relations and corporate development.
“This recognition is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and commitment to the Jindal School’s mission and values.”
McNulty also said that these selected individuals serve as role models for everyone in the JSOM community.
“They embody the values of our business school, fostering an environment of excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement,” she said. “Their dedication to our students and the Jindal School as a whole sets a high standard for all of us to follow.
