This fall, as a new, post-pandemic era begins at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, longtime Advisory Council member Dan Sessa begins a two-year term as chairman. His predecessor, Samantha Dwinell, continues as a council member after her two-year term.

Dwinell, Chief People Officer for Sevita Health and former vice president of Talent Management for Texas Instruments, assumed the position in September 2020 during the height of the pandemic. Unable to conduct meetings in person, she led the council’s transition to a mostly virtual format.

“In spite of a difficult period of time brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, Sam has done a remarkable job for us as Advisory Council chair and took moving the council to a virtual format in stride,” said Dr. Diane McNulty, associate dean of external relations, communication and corporate development. “I look forward to both Sam’s and Dan’s continued contributions.”

Dan Sessa, chief human resources officer at Lennox International, Inc. since 2007, has been an involved member of the council since 2010 and a staunch advocate for the Jindal School. He serves on the Jindal School New Dimensions Campaign Council with Kevin Ryan, Campaign Council chair.

Comprised of distinguished corporate and community leaders, friends and alumni with a demonstrated commitment to the mission of the school, the council provides advice and support for the Dean, faculty and school leadership as they build corporate relationships and engagement with the Jindal School and its many programs.
